:D You should be signing up for ISIS with that, very Muslamic.

Having a beard is a hipster look?

I can understand skinny jeans and snap backs with "peng" etc on it but beards?

Think they have been around a tiny bit longer.

*unless you mean the dodgy haircut/s, then yes, I agree

:)

I'm so glad you can't see my jeans or glasses in that picture.... :o

In my defense I've always had the back and sides really short just after a hair cut, I usually let it grow out for 1-2 months, and an undercut is the only hairstyle which naturally suits me, if I want anything else I have to straighten it.

I did my first clean shave in about three years... my god its horrible - got asked for ID at 30.....

I think I'll go back to my short/scruffy beard, suits my laziness!

So mines been going for a couple of months now but it's getting to the stage a simple shampoo and conditioner routine a couple of time a week isn't enough. It'gets combed/brushed too but I need to get it trimmed/styled I think.

Any good links on how too look actually shave/trim a beard to style it. All the ones i've found either have pictures of beards or just show how to maintain a beard. Nothing for going from full bush to something more manageable. Wasn't an issue but i've just got a customer facing role so feel i need to keep it tidy.

I'm into a month and a bits growth now. I'm actually taking decent care of it this time, shampooing it and oiling it. And man it really pays off.

How do people grow it down, rather than just out? Mine seems to be going in a rather circular fashion. Do the sides need trimming? >.>

I have beard in order to not faff about with maintenance ao have never tried oils and what not. I also have unmaintained pubes if anyone is wondering.

I can't be arsed with oils or any of that stuff either. Beards are nice and low maintenance. I do occasionally condition it but I'm talking once every few months. Pubes require more care.

Trim with scissors, shape in accordance with your face shape, need to really see your face to recommend how to shape it, but don't be afraid to take off length to make it even, you can also go to a barber and ask them to clean it up. Another thing to note is the stache, it plays a big part in the overall look, I wasn't growing mine out before, but I'm growing it out now, despite the bloody thing always getting in the way, but looks much better with a bigger beard.

If your beard is really curly you can brush it daily to help straighten the hairs out, you can also blow dry it after a shower using a comb to help straighten the hairs out. I normally wash using a beard wash, condition it, blow dry it and then oil it.
