Ah. My hunter only got "Frumious Cloak" though which is worth 160. Must be the luck of the draw.
 
I'll be getting the legendary digital. Got some gift cards for my birthday so it's only costing me £10 to go digital.

I need to do skolas on Monday night. Anyone free to help me on Xbone? 34 blade dancer hunter.

its not.

for some reason the warlock one is 180 while the titan and hunter one is 160. lord knows why.

Ah but what light level :D

you can be level 34 and horrendously under leveled for content on your light level. Year 2 we're going to have to start quoting light levels as the actual level now means very little
 
All that effort getting super kills and generating orbs just for a class item. Hopefully the extra quests for the new subclass isn't more of the same.

Just need to farm some glimmer and then I ready for Tuesday :)
 
So is it safe to start dismantling excess exotics now in order to get the shards for Year 2 weapon/armour upgrades? Are they giving legendary marks for dismantling things on Tuesday?
 
the only way to find out would be to wait until tuesday :P

i've even kept all purple that i have had drop since they announced that dismantling stuff will provide legendary marks.

i am however thinking that they meant year 2 purples. not crummy year one.... we will see. motes of light and heavy synth is my stock at the moment for exp on launch day.

you should be fine now as everything is shown as unlocked in the year 1 section of the exotic blueprint kiosks.

If you dismantle one, you should be able to buy it again for 1 shard and 2500 glimmer from the kiosk.

very few exotics are making it to year 2 though, I'd not be so keen to dismantle them all yet.

So I sold my vanilla destiny many many months ago, I have saved a level 21 warlock light power 101 once I get taken king should I just dismantle all I have and start a fresh or choose new class and use that stone for Lvl 25?

No, getting to 25 from 21 is going to take no time at all, use it on a new character.
 
Received my Destiny The Taken King - The Legendary Edition on Xbox One from Simplygames on Sat morning. The code inside to activate the dlcs including the taken king worked but the code to activate the early access weapons pack wouldn't. Xbox live just kept throwing up an error.

Contacted Microsoft and after answering loads of questions they told me to get in touch with simply games to ask for a replacement. Quick search on Twitter pulled up another simply games customer with the same problem.

Still waiting to hear back from SG to find out what they are going to do. (They're closed over the weekend)

Anyroad, I got a refund from Microsoft for my Xbone version as the nephew dropped out and is waiting for Star Wars instead. So I'm back on PS4 and will be available for the King's Fall raid if you'll have me. :p

Seriously only Warlocks can hit 170 as for some bizarre reason the class item you get has a higher defence rating :confused:

Pigtails is 171, both my others are 169.... *sigh*



*Only achievable with the 172 Attack Necrochasm.

I assume the wrong figures are on the Hunter and Titan as AFAIK were were level 34 170 light so would make sense we continue as such. My Warlock is ready for TTK Tuesday, I just need a couple more public events for 100k XP and farm some glimmer as only at 10k. Really I would like more glimmer in the vault but tedious to farm that so cba.
 
Quick question from a born again destiny player. I got thorn and bad juju as soon as i started playing again but they seem underpowered. Only 160 base damage. Is this because they are the old versions or is that right?
