Now is probably the best time to start as you'd get all the past DLC and Destiny for £40 if you buy the legendary edition.

Updated Cerberus Vae is quite fun, middle section is very different (no tank).
The Undying Mind is a sloooooog. Not fun.
Taniks is pretty straightforward til taniks himself then you have to play a long game like skolas and manage adds.
Shanktastic one on earth is cool, I like the little electric hallway part.
Faction package/engram drop light levels is definitely linked to your light...so you'll slowly accumulate higher light as long as you're doing content with drops. Already the gear I'm getting from factions/engrams is higher light than vendor gear, got a 294 light New Monarchy sidewarm from a package.

What's the better faction to side with for a warlock in TTK?

Was going to do the same, but FWC has been mentioned a couple of times to me as good for a warlock?
What level are the strikes? I forgot to check last night. I am only 230 at the moment which I'm sure is too low but want to get them started as soon as I can.
If that is true that higher level stuff will drop then that is good. Though so far I have from packages I have had 4 class items and 5 primary weapons so it would be nice to get some other armour in a drop.
Is that guarantee for the first one per day or every strike? If every strike then once people hit 260 light we should be swimming in engrams.
I have yet to see a single hunter class item that can be infused...
Was a bit of a shock to discover that patrol missions have been adjusted, sent to kill a high ranking target that turned out to be a level 40 hive knight major, I failed
I did two last night and had two across both (two engrams drop per boss)

Exactly. It was a free pre order bonus designed for new players. Would have been cool if they were legendaries, but its free so who cares.
I'd watch yourself I said it was a joke they are charging £40 for a small expansion when the main game was £40 and this only has like a quarter of the content and white knights appeared
what do you expect when you're not being fair. They are not charging "40 for a small expansion" Its definitely an expansion, but its not a small one. There's loads to do. We've only just scratched the surface of the new content.
Its not like the previous DLCs where you ran 5 story missions and a strike and that was the new content over until the raid unlocked.
Could the price do with being lower ? Absolutely. There isn't a whole new game in here ( when compared with the content in ... say .. MGS V) but you get so much more over previous DLCs that were £20 each, that £40 in comparison to the standard £20 activision / EA expansions seems about right.
You've mis understood the purpose. The whole idea about making the change was never to stop people getting good gear quickly. It was to make the system easier so that new players didn't just give up at 20 when they couldn't understand how to level up.
This, all clans do is get OcUk under your name in the loading screen. That's it.

You only get 10 legendary marks for the first three heroic per week! Still get drops though I think.
As regards factions....it's no longer the case that each faction has different stat bonuses. New Monarchy vendor has INT/DIS boots and mark, FWC has DIS/STR boots.....so just pick whichever faction you want, there is no *right* choice anymore.

Heroics are 260, although there were a couple people at 240-245 in my fireteam and we managed, although it's a bit of a slog.
