Might be a bit of a strange one, but I am currently bored on weekends.

My background - I am 26, happily married with two dogs, no friends living by (Bridgend, South Wales) and am just about to do my motorbike license, I work a Monday - Friday 9 - 5 job with an hour commute each side.

I am after some suggestions on what I can do on weekends, as the only think I "look forward" to these days is work. Need some activities that I can do with the wife, but also some I can do on my own as she works weekends quite often in her job.

What do you guys get up to on a weekend? Inspire me :D

A few suggestions...

Karting
Clay pigeon shooting
Local pub
Walks
Off road bike or motorbike
PC gaming

Absolutely, a perfect couples activity.

but what about the other 47 hours :D

Club motorsport is quite a good one for burning time during the summer weekends, though missus and family tend to be an incovenience who want to monopolize my time.

How about joining a football/rugby team, or dance class with the missus, go exploring, lots of nice places not far from you for camping and walks etc. good for dogs too.

Take some classes, scuba, skiing, canoeing and target some interesting holidays based around it.

Practice producing a child - benefits both then and your weekends will NEVER be boring afterwards.... apparently.
When she's at work you can research techniques.

I should be a marriage counsellor!! :D

My gf and I go out to national trust sites. Membership for a year is quite cheap and then you can just go anywhere. Gets us out of the house, I get to do some photography, she gets to do stuff together etc.

Or if it's rubbish outside then I play games or mess about with photos and she watches rubbish TV or works on her course. Or we go out with this couple she knows from work.

I would avoid the child thing, its an absolute time and money sap, I look at my daughter and all I can see is what could have been my Ferrari.......i'm not bitter...... :D

Tried Airsoft? I'd imagine there would be a few good sites in Wales.

I mostly play video games and watch football if my girlfriend is at work

As others with kids will state, embrace the peaceful weekends :D

But yes, find a new hobby and get rolling. Mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, gym (lifting weights), tattooing?, gaming, movies, swimming, golf, drones, off roading, football, DIY etc etc
I could do a million things left to my own devices. However, nowadays it's taking the kiddo to a pumpkin patch etc
