Cleaned my Idle Control Valve as it wasn't settling down once revved, all sorted now. Checked all the vacuum hoses whilst I was there, everything seems okay.

Clipped a wall last night. Just scratches, no dents, but so cross with myself.

Then took it to a Subaru meet today in Cobham.

Fiesta took a hissy fit and started running on not many cylinders which have the other half a bit of a shock

Turned up for a look and found the connector to the coil had wriggled itself slightly loose. That'll be £80 diagnostic fee please love

Think I need to change the 'cam belt?' or something soon. Starting to sound like the engine ticks for some reason.

soon is too long if it is the cambelt ticking!! Get it looked at promptly if you don't want it chewing on engine parts very soon..

Not my car but the wifes Mondeo, "Engine Malfunction" light came on the other day and it got stuck in limp mode. It's at a garage today to diagnose!

The warning has been coming on and off intermittently for a while but it cleared with an engine restart (it was recently serviced, they couldn't find anything wrong) so I'm hoping for a relatively simple fix rather than a major failure.

Just mullered a front alloy on a high sticky-out kerb on a busy narrow street :mad:

Was mint as well and the winters are going on in less than 48 hours. Typical :rolleyes:

Might as well get the tracking done; it was quite a hefty bump.
