From the notes it seems like they have just tweaked the drops and increased the chance of something good to 60%.
 
Nevermind, just got my calcified fragment from the court of oryx. Had some randoms who had some pretty powerful weapons take Balwur down in like a minute or so lol.

Now off to get my much needed touch of malice.
 
Finally got my long awaited touch of malice, thanks to je11y helping me out on that pain in the butt echo strike on Phobos. Just needed the essence so didn't bother trying to complete the strike.

Interesting weapon as it takes your health away when you are down to one bullet lol. Gets a bit hairy if you are being blasted by ads lol.

Now to wait for tomo to get my exotic sword :D

I was pretty happy with my loot. Out of the 5 runs I did (2 to help others):

1) 310 Don't Touch Me
2) 310 Immolation Fists
3) 20 Strange Coins
4) 1 Mote of Light (previously wouldn't get anything)
5) 2 Strange Coins (as above)

Also got the Solar Flayer Mantle (Hunter cloak) and Treads Upon Stars (scout rifle).

Others got 310 exotics and legendary items as high as 308. Nightfall is absolutely worth doing again, especially with it being so quick and easy this week.
 
Dear lord getting praediths ghost solo was a complete ballache! I very nearly gave up. I very nearly killed myself a number of times in the jumping bits as well. This exotic scout rifle better be worth it!

It's not bad but personally I would rate Hung Jury higher especially as it frees up your special or heavy for an exotic instead.
 
Got 20 strange coins from the NF....actually pretty good, with a few blues dropping as well I got 21 SC. That's 15 Three of Coins so probably 3 exotic engrams, most of which are going to be 310.

Don't know if I've been lucky, but since light 305, every exotic engram has been 310.
 
My NF rewards were a naff <295 ghost and a 310 Voidfang Vestments with a fantastic Int/Dis roll. Overall not too shabby although I can't say whether that is better or worse than before (The Mrs got exotics back to back in the first TTK NF).

I know Greboth wasn't too happy with his WL bond and Ghost....

Managed to do the first steps for the No Time to Explain Exotic pulse but boy did I leave my jumping skill back in the raid... Tehmoe and Greboth were very patient with me!
 
Just loaded this up the other day after an (8) month sabbatical... Only to find my hard grinded legendary vanguard armour and exotic weapons were now.. Frankly, worthless and the world populated by level 40 players. I cannot buy weapons and armour as I have no legendary marks, my stock of crucible and vangaurd commendation/marks are worthless too and I cannot play any strikes and only legacy crucible matches with only experience points to earn.

As a casual player there is no way I can fork out £55 to play the parts of the game I once so enjoyed...

Shame but I feel I'm left with a "demo" again.. <sigh>
 
Spent hours to earn my thorn hand canon and the first random drop was a green uncommon beast that statistically wipes the floor with my coveted yellow prize of months past. <sob>

Yup, 2 NF's down and effectively I got 3 legendary makrs and 2 armour materials - yey :mad: If I have some spare time I might run my hunter through it later in the week. Third time lucky maybe? Knowing my luck an exotic will drop this run but as my hunter isn't 300 it will be 290 and get sharded.
 
Is anyone about tonight who could help me with the 300 light dark cell strike to get my exotic sword please?

Cheers, sounds good. Nightfall was indeed pretty easy. Todays daily is also a joke, took about 10 minutes max and most of that was just sitting about .
