Mexican Grand Prix 2015, Mexico City - Race 17/19

Vettel overtook Grosjean, then realised it was Maldonado and jumped out the way so he wasn't rammed.

Hamilton's going to be 10 seconds back and not bothered :(

Looks like they are doing it stupid, either pit the very next lap or you stay out and try and have a tire advantage for end of race. Waiting a lap just to increase the gap is utterly stupid.

So Hamilton has to wait till Rosberg pits?

Hows that work then, what if he wanted to come in a lap before Rosberg, that wouldn't effect Rosbergs race.

Medium times aren't actually much faster than softs at the end.

edit:

Okay Rosberg just did 22.8

Lead Mercedes has first call on strategy.

If Hamilton had a tyre issue then they would have called him in.

100% this. Can't stand the guy and his ******* attitude. Why Ferrari retained him is beyond me.

Ferrari's reasoning was he worked well with the team and helped a lot with development. He and Vettel have a lot of respect for each other which is also good for a team that isn't fighting for the WDC/WCC.

Thats dumb then.

They are racing each other and the other teams, He should have just pitted whenever he wanted.

Hamilton coming in a lap before Rosberg doesnt compromise Rosberg in anyway.
