Yeah try and aggro them one at a time and run back down the stairs. I think it you clear the building where the dude in the wheelchair is if you run down those stairs to wolves can't get this through the door. Cheesy I know but cheese is good if it works.

Congratz, what am i looking at here? :P

Platinum trophy for bloodborne. And hats off, damn hard game IMO. I ran out of talent with this one. I got like 7 bosses down, but then the game hit back and I was out for the count...

One of the hardest, most unforgiving and brutal games I've ever played, loved it , would love to have the ability to actually finish it lol

I did NG+++ within the first couple weeks of release and got the Platinum but have left the game alone since purely so I could play through it all again with the DLC.
So I'm going to be a good boy and not access the DLC until I re-do the game next week....maybe....probably not actually...lol

Can't wait!

I have a Strength/Arcane build, currently on NG+ but have stopped as I know the DLC is coming. In two minds whether to continue or maybe start a Skill/Bloodtinge build, the Chikage always interested me.

i was hoping they allow us to remove stats, so we upgrade others instead.

My setup strength/skill build, i like to try bloodtinge or arcane build.

My game currently on the end boss fight ready to replay again once DLC hits.

Patch notes, poorly Translated.

New "Covenant" -- The Federation
This is the covenant of the hunters that share the objective of the "Federation". You can meet Valtir, leader of the Federation, and join the Federation by talking to him when available.
The Federation will be available in the hut next to the first shortcut in the Forbidden Forest, next to the first lamp.
You will receive an item after each successful multiplayer session -- an "insect". Your ranking within the Federation is determined by how many insects you have crushed.

Additional NPC Co-op Partners
It will be possible summon NPC phantoms of Federation members in several areas.
Old Hunter NPCs will now be available to for summon in both the Chalice Dungeons and the base game. After you meet certain criteria, you will be able to purchase the "Ancient Summoning Bell" in the Hunter's Dream. Using this item will consume insight and will allow you to summon the phantoms of certain Old Hunters throughout the game. It should be noted that you can only have a maximum of two summoned NPC phantoms at one time. Summoning a real player will reduce that amount to one and so on.

Changes in the Chalice Dungeons
Non-root Chalice Dungeons will now have have a standardized glyph that will open the way for far more co-op and pvp opportunities. You should now be able to connect to players exploring the non-root/story dungeons without needing to meet with them via their unique glyph. However, you will still be able to create these non-root dungeons with a "unique" glyph if you wish to not participate in random co-op and PvP.

Changes in Co-op Partner Illusions
If you are the player using a summoning bell, you will now have the option to see phantoms or ghosts of other players also searching for co-op or multiplayer.
Plays who are searching for co-op or multiplayer will now display ripples on their phantom, indicating that players in the area are searching for each other. Please note that you can only see the ripples on phantoms that are within summoning range of your character.
We have also implemented some other changes and improved the matchmaking to some degree.

What would be the best starting build for a newbie whose only From Software experience so far is 2 hours of Demon Souls?

And are there still enough players that if I need help, somebody will step up?

youtube video, lol no, no joke, I had to. Game was brutal for me at first, and reason I never finished it was due to never finding anyone to help me beat the bosses towards the end, I rang the bell a few times and no one ever answered.

I might pick it up again once the DLC hits, it might prompt some to replay the game, and become online to offer help. Problem with the bell, is that it uses insight and that in itself is hard to come by if you're not a good player.

In other words, I found the game very hard, but very rewarding if you do bring a boss down in your own. The very first boss I took down, I literally danced around my living room - seriously it felt that good.
