REALLY Hot Chilli Sauce?

As much as this is relevant to the thread, you appear to have registered on these forums with the sole purpose of advertising your company which is a breach of forum rules.
 
Thread necro, but no point in starting a new one IMO..

Got a bottle of the Cambridge chilli company's Blue goose Christmas chilli sauce on the market today. The guy who makes it described it as his hottest ever sauce. It's 65% Carolina Reaper! :eek:

Last hottest sauce I tried from them was 25% Trinidad scorpian an TBH that was intolerably hot, so this should be lively. :D
 
I just finished a bottle of "Z - Nothing Beyond" and for what it is, its a very, very nice hot sauce. Loads of flavour beyond the heat.

I ate my first whole Carolina Reaper a few weeks ago too. Hot, but not quite as blisteringly ferocious as I was expecting. Quite a lot of "plant" flavour to it, not as tasty as some of the mega-hot cultivars.

Then again, I quite regularly eat burgers topped with Naga Vipers/Ghost Chilli and things like that, so what counts as hot to me would seemingly kill some people :p

my favourite receptical for hot sauces as a snack is hummus with some toasted pitta....cant get enough of it! Dollop of hummus on a plate, douse in hot sauce, dip strips of toasted pitta in = win snack.
 
Had some pure ghost chilli mash at a food show last month. Just mashed up chilli and a little vinegar to preserve, was pretty hot.
 
We just bought this for our housemate. He eats everything with hot sauce and we've yet to find a hot sauce he can't cope with.

Although maybe we'd have been better off getting this or this!

My ex bought me that last one when we were having fajitas one night, it was hot but not crazily so.
 
getting bord of flying goose siracha and buying bottle after bottle of very lazy chilli.

so came in here looking for stuff and found the website I posted baove, which I totally forgot about, so ordered.

shouldn't need to buy any bottles of lazy chilli for a while. and buying in bulk is such good value.
 
We are a strictly Psycho Juice household.

Mainly Ghost Pepper as it has a perfect balance of heat and actual flavour.
I use sparingly, but the gf puts it on pretty much everything. But then, she also happily puts 2-3 fresh scotch bonnets on a sandwhich for 'a bit of tingle'.

EDIT - Turns out it is Ghost Pepper Extreme that we get, which would explain why, when I put some on a steak as a prank for a friend, the resulting smoke/steam from the pan was like filling the flat with pepper spray :D
