Do you buy less from ocuk now?

If the mrs is watching some crap on telly I used to have a little browse through the site, its so awkward to do on my phone now I just dont bother. I agree it has killed impulse buys, I still tend to use OcUK for most PC things though
Im the same. Im not a lover off the new site but I still buy from it.
there customer support and prices on stuff make it worth my while.
I havent purchased anything new from anywhere else since I started using the forum.
yes I do look elsewhere and compare prices but if theirs only a few quid in it OcUK will get my money as there customer support and service make up for it in my eyes.
its not my wallet that thanks me.... its the wife!!
saying that I do still browse just not as much..

I like the new site. I don't find it hard to use at all. I will likely buy my next PC from OCUK.

I don't like the new site and trying to use it at events whilst showing people products is a nightmare sometimes due to a combination of slow loading times and dodgy internet

This, though i do tend to buy stuff elsewhere if they have stock of more items anyway.

I just spent 80 quid on watercool fittings so no.
I understand that you are saying it's lost its simplicity of the past version and just trying to bombard every sense with information, there are way too many entry points now.
That being said, the old site was not technically impressive and I am a believer that this change is for the good of the company.
At the moment ocuk is enjoying its bells and whistles site, but hopefully will tone down the gimmicks for better user friendliness.
I would prefer a minimalist design over information overload

I used to think ocuk was unbeatable but I think the status quo is now "price it at ocuk, then buy from elsewhere" which can't be good when that gets to be standard for all.

i guess it is just me that agrees with it then, i don't particuarly like it, but i can see why they would do it.
i hate the new website. its bad sorry but i find it hard to navigate around. too many clicky
in the past i used to pricing up my dream machine on old website as it was simple, easy and quick to find an item.

I can see why you would do it, but it is pretty bad.
I find it much harder to navigate than other sites.
Some of the competitor sites are much easier to navigate (Although many are just as bad).
It also does not fit correctly onto a 1280 x 1024 display. (Yes I still have rubbish monitors at work).

The only thing I'm not liking lately is the flat £9.90 delivery charge for everything. Even if it's just 2 small fittings... I've had my account for 9 years and have spent thousands.
But to be fair the service is exceptional so I don't think it'll stop me buying here. The only time I buy elsewhere is when OcUK don't stock what I need which is rare.
