My xbox is really getting on my nerves, took over a day before i could play halo 5 at the weekend due to it having to download a 16GB patch. Put it on tonight for a quick blast, yet another 3+GB patch.

Every time i want to play games on the thing it is a complete ball ache. Having to manage storage all the time, huge downloads for everything and the OS still doesn't make finding anything easy!

I thought the 360 over the PS3 had patching brilliant, patches were really quick on the 360 and took an age on the PS3, but this gen, God help me.

If i thought id get any decent money for it, i'd probably get rid of it.

Leave it in standby mode, not eco mode, it should then auto downoad patches for games when released iirc?

I downloaded it last night. Is preview part of gold membership? As I was able to preview it without signing up for preview access. You only get an hour's access in preview but whilst it's far from the finished version it does look like a fun game. Few frame rate drops and found a raptor stuck in a tree but to be expected in its current state.

Ah maybe I got confused thought it was preview programme. I downloaded it last night going to try it later, I seen its cheap if you buy from Russian store, £13 IIRC.

It may well be. I just skipped through everything so I could just get on with downloading it ha.
 
Can't get online with NFS, or check my xbox live status although I know I've got it. AC Syndicate is OK online afaik because I had community events show up.

Blargh.
 
I'd like to lose our bluray player from the playroom when the XBox One is put in the tv cabinet. Is the XBox One an adequate bluray player?

We only watch films in there via the TV stereo speakers over HDMI.
 
Anyone had error code E200 000000EF 00000000? I switched the xbox off to drop the missus to her Christmas do, got home to play a bit of FO4 and it's hit me with this rubbish. Can't get it to boot at all :(

Update guys, I hard resetted my Xbox one, by holding the power button and then turned my Xbox one back on, and it took about 4minutes in the green logo screen and seems to be working perfectly fine now, but I'm just moving all my games across from the internal hard drive over to my external hard drive incase this happens again and next time my Xbox one doesn't work or down thing :(

Phew so happy it hasn't died though :)
