Sounds like an issue with your pad, tried changing the batteries? My Xbox is upstairs in my game room and I can easily go downstairs to the kitchen with the pad and headset still on and be able to use it (party chat etc).

Yer have updated it which has made it abit better but no where near! my 360!!

surprised they made the the range worst on next gen hardware

Do your old xbone gwg games still work if you let your gold sub run out and then get gold again?
Or do you have to extend it before it runs out?

Games remain yours forever but are only playable when a gold sub is active.

On Xbox One, you will no longer be able to access your Games with Gold titles if you cancel your subscription. However, if you decide to renew your subscription at any time, you will be able to access and play your previously redeemed Games with Gold titles again.

On 360 games are yours regardless, but this is the XB1 thread

You get 2 free 360 games a month with Gold, those are the ones you won't be able to play if you cancel your sub, unless you have the actual disk or had bought it on the 360 digitally previously.

According to this -http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/my-account/xbox-live-membership/games-with-gold-faq

On XB1 games need a sub to be playable, on 360 you can play your games without a sub.

Yep, you can't play any games for gold if you don't have games for gold, PSN is the same thing. It's basically a rental service.

So if I cancel Gold, the games which were discounted whilst a gold member are not playable? I thought it was the free ones.

Xbox 360 GWG free titles will carry on working on both consoles.
Xbox One GWG free titles require an active Xbox Gold Subscription. Discounted titles will still work.
