Has anyone else with the Elite controller noticed problems with stick drift using the instant and aggressive sensitivity curves?

Instant is almost unusable as my aim constantly moves up and right ,and I can't navigate menus with aggressive as every time I move up with the LS it moves me back down one when I release the stick.

Interestingly, if I set to default and adjust the deadzone to 0 through the Halo 5 in-game settings, I don't get the same drift. I wonder if it could just be a software problem?

Anyway I'm going to mark the warranty period on my calendar so I don't miss the opportunity to have it replaced should it come to that.

I use aggressive with no drift. The only time I've noticed drift on a normal controller is if I accidentally press/move something when a game is starting up normally because the controller is on my lap. Putting the controller on a flat surface and restarting the game always resolved that.

Anyone using the Xbox with the TV Tuner is having issue with channels / oneguide and how it's completely messed up?

I was away for a week for Christmas, got back to no BBC2 HD / BBC 3 HD / BBC 4 HD etc, unless I unlock both SD and HD channels. Even then, I get nothing but just the channel way further down the list, no channel info or show info.

Was working perfect since day one till now.

And now it's working fine.

CRAZY 24 hours this.

Stick drift is quite common on the original controllers. I've had two go and they started the same way as yours have. Keep a close eye on it.

Why is it taking my Xbox One from turning on around a minute to log me in ?

Its in instant on mode.

Just sits with the spinning circle saying signing in, takes around 60 seconds.

It used to be pretty much instant.

It's a bit disappointing, it's been like this straight from the box. I'm using the smooth sensitivity curve at the moment so I don't notice it but I'll definitely be phoning in for a warranty replacement before the 90 days are up.

so my official Xbox headset (stereo) has decided to pack up mid game through Rainbow Six, for no reason. (mic gone).

can anyone recommend a good headset to replace with? Not after buying a crazy spec version for £170 so will put a budget of £70.

stupidly I was thinking of buying the Turtle Beach Xo4 the other day when on offer, now theyv've gone back up to full price.

Have you got the newer controller with the 3.5mm jack by any chance?

I recently bought a cheap Triton headset and it was 30% cheaper for the PS4 version with the standardised connector than Xboxs proprietary one.

Edit: I bought this one and I'm happy with it as a replacement for the stock one. I also got 2 years accidental damage cover for £4.99 which I thought was good value, and definitely worth it for a headset.

I've got the day one edition controller where I need the adapter (which I have). I presume that adapter turns the controller into the new models (I.e can use more or less any headset?)

While mine certainly isn't as bad as that, it does take a lot longer than it used to take. It's pretty frustrating and I may as well turn off instant on given that I'm really not seeing anything instant about it at the moment :p

The long sign in problem seems to have gone away today as i'm procrastinating from Tomb Raider by a day of off and on playing peggle, I seem to be the only one in the world who can't get into Tomb raider :(

Is this across the board, or just on some?
I found that Assassins Creed simply wouldn't resume correctly, but all my other games are fine.

Netflix will never work, it'll even take me to the screen where you can choose a user to sign in as but it refuses to recognise any input from the controller unless I completely close the app and reopen it. I've had the same problem with offline games, Forza and Resident Evil for example where trying to launch them will either result in just a black screen or it'll load the game where I last left off but it won't recognise any input from the controller and I'll have to quit to the dashboard and restart the game.
