I do enjoy snow, it reduces the amount of work I've got to do and also clears all the noobs off the road. Plus it looks lovely.

Yesterday, Stafford woke up to the usual 1mm overnight dusting which was all but melted by late morning. That'll be our lot for the year... same time same place in 2017! Last proper snow ("proper" as in 6"+) was in early 1996. Yes there was that really cold winter of 2010/11 and it stuck for weeks, but it wasn't over 3" or 4".

Heavy snow up here. Had a hell of a time getting up the road tonight. Had the neighbours out chucking grit out and pushing to get me there in the end (couldn't get out the car as I needed brakes on all 4 wheels to keep it from sliding back down the hill). Not good news for my washing machine delivery on Monday!
