It's snowing

I came home last last night, about 1.30am, and it felt like it may snow. Woke up to a good covering, and the usual insane amount of "mum run panic" traffic which made my normal 10min drive to work last nearly 40mins!

Ban kids!:D ( or make the buggers walk like we had to! )

Slow news day it would appear. Had similar happen years ago after missing a connection and ended up in what would have otherwise have just been an empty flight ferrying a plane to another airport.

Luckiest passenger by the Chinese for the fact it wasn't overcrowded?

Could this mean there is a general desire in China to be more about the individual?

Don't get me started! What's wrong with walking/cycling to school as we all did when we were kids?! The whole school run mentality is pathetic, and it's ever so obvious when the kids are on holiday because the four mile trip from where I live to the next town takes 10 minutes instead of the standard 30 - 60 that these idiot parents cause ... *grumbles*.

Started snowing here in North Yorkshire about 9.00 this morning and on and off all day

Good covering and enough to make a five and a bit foot snowman

Snow here just outside of Manchester. It's coming down pretty thick, already an inch is settling. I haven't seen snow this heavy in a good few years.

Took a few pics, excuse the potato phone;
