Kids Company scamming charity? Or just incompetent management?

Literally driving around handing out brown envelopes full of cash in tower blocks with people fighting over them.

One woman said "people need this money to buy their kids food and clothe them". So what did they spend their Child Benefit, JSA etc on? They're acting like Kids company are there only source of income.

Enough to have a mansion and private swimming pool.

Not a luxury swimming pool though.

£60k a year rent paid by the charity.

Didn't they say there were 650 employees? That works out at less than 1000 per person, which isn't unreasonable if those 650 people were actually doing something useful and productive.

They actually said they were £500,000 'short', they didn't say what the total wage bill was.

They did, near the start they the wage bill was about 1m a month. That's just to pay net wages, you still have the paye bill on top of that to settle as well. That's an average of about 19k a year per employee, the actual amount is most likely higher as surely some of those 650 are volunteers and not paid up member's of staff (at least i would like to think that).

I felt bad for those who were reliant on charity, over the years kids company has shielded people from the realities of life rather then getting them prepared to face it.

Lock her up.

I want to her to go through the court system just so she's forced to wear prison garb, she'd complain that it's against her human rights and all the guards would just laugh very loudly inches from her face :D

It's not an impossibility as there's a reasonable chance that she can be charged with fraud

Will the standard issue HRH Prison uniform fit her?

£500,000 wage bill!

I was going to say, £500,000 wage bill isn't that much and a meaningless number on it's own, one of the places I manage is a Nursery (and a Charity) and it's wage bill is more than £500k!
