I guess I cant grumble, west ham should have had a penalty so I guess its justice.

Benteke just doesnt work in our team, its quite clear, we've tried it enough now. Its time to give it up, move him on for the sake of his own career and get a replacement in the summer
 
Absolutely dumb from Lucas. No need to push the player to the floor but he's not the only one to do it tonight. We've given away so many needless free kicks and it's finally bitten us. Deserved for being stupid.
 
Well yet again no defence on a set piece, Milner didnt even ****ing jump, May of had a chance if Benteke could have finished his least one of his 12 attempts

I think it's fair to say Liverpool need to sort out their striking situation. They had a hat full of decent chances.
 
Not a great result but plenty of positives from that performance including the performances of Tex and Pedro and the return of Coutinho and Sturridge.

Front four suddenly looks a lot more capable with Sturridge and Coutinho back. Would like to see Tex alongside Coutinho and Firmino behind Sturridge against Villa.

No more Benteke or Ibe. One can't shoot and the other can't pass.
 
Given our starting line-up I was expecting the worst but we ended up playing not too badly and could have easily walked away with the win had we been able to finish.

Like I said at the start of the game you've got to think that Klopp was happy to sacrifice the FA Cup with the teams he's been putting out so maybe that's job done :/

Him and Chirivella were the 2 players I was most worried about before the game but both ended up playing well. Unfortunately Lucas always has and always will give away stupid free-kicks around the edge of our box :o

Not sure about that. I'm sure I read in the summer that his clear cut chance conversation was pretty bad. Despite all the **** he gets from morons like Michael Owen, he gets into positions to score but his finishing isn't much to write home about.

I've been saying since before we signed him, he's a decent striker for a certain type of side and I wasn't sure that side was us and that's now been proven beyond doubt. All game Owen was hammering him for not making near post runs to get on the end of crosses but that's not the striker he is. Like with his headed chance in the first half of ET, he's somebody that hangs back and wants the ball hung up in the air for him to attack (which Owen tried to claim that was what he's been saying he should do :/).
