PS: Yes, I know it has black wheels. Sort that some time down the line but they are as new condition just powdercoated so no rush just yet for me. Make sure it's dependable/reliable first.
 
You managed to make it home without committing suicide because of the absolutely unusable power band and the fact the gearstick vibrates at idle?

The predictable 120d M Sport. It's got heated leather, climate control, the usual stuff really, reverse sensors, manual, cruise control, more than enough goodies for me. It's pretty much spotless on the outside. Inside is very good but I am fussy so going to have a look into the bolster restoration kits like mrk used, they're not bad at all but I'd love them to be mint, and a few bits of trim like the door handles have the odd scratch so I'd like to replace them for brand new.

I found it a lovely drive home, it's got enough go for me and will suit my driving style just fine. In no way did I find it unrefined, it's much smoother than my Focus was, but of course just not as powerful or flexible, I have noticed it's not that strong under 1500RPM but this is the sort of car I want now. Comfy and civilised but no barge or something too soft. I really quite like it.

Decided it was time for a change. Traded the Mercedes CLA in for a Jaguar Xe. Was going for a brand new one, however I got a good deal on a 6 month old Xe direct from jaguar.

The colour is a little strange "Osmium" in direct light it looks silver, in darker light it takes on a blue look. Love the car though :)
 
Some awesome cars in here...

Nick's Aston, the Mustangs, the WRX (cough Impreza ;))... I even like Rybo's BMW given the decent engine.

Here's mine after a recent winter wash, it could probably do with a top up of Collinite but I'm holding off as I want to machine polish it this year. I didn't intend posting these pictures otherwise I would have taken it for some decent shots with my SLR.

I've done way more miles in it than I expected due to an extended commute, thankfully that's come down to a more reasonable figure now but I wouldn't have been too bothered if I had to keep doing it, the car has been excellent. Sure, it's had a lot of preventitive maintance including all fluids, cambelt, waterpump and several oil changes in that time but doing everything myself has saved hundreds in labour costs.

At just over 90,000 miles and no paperwork to indicate a clutch change in its life (it has FSH), it's now slipping quite badly. I have a lightweight flywheel and Exedy 'stage 1' (I hate those terms) clutch to go on in the next few weeks. Apart from that, it's recently had a new front lambda and new front pads. Returning a consistent ~34MPG for my commute, it's not really been a major surprise running cost wise. In fact, I'd say it returns marginally better figures than the Rover.

Always liked the 1 series coupe's. Shame it is a diesel but never mind :p

In fact one of the new shape 228i's is on my next car shortlist after I have had my Fiesta ST for a few more years.
 
I did really like the idea of a Fiesta ST but the BMW, granted not brand new/near new was a good 5/6k less than a good Fiesta ST and I think at my age now I would feel better getting in and out of the BMW. I tend to find I don't drive for pleasure any more, only if I need to go somewhere so this at the moment will do me great. However I really like how it drives, it's just smooth and comfortable to me but not much roll or lean so it's just the right compromise. I pootle around a lot of the time so it's got enough guts for that.

It has a few other bits like air bolster blow up things haha, the Professional audio set up and I found the USB port etc didn't expect that on an 09 car, LED's under the door handles etc etc. I don't know the correct BM terminology for some of these features but I will learn as time goes on being my first Beemer I want to learn plenty as I am insistant it must be mechanically perfect and spotless inside and out. But most definitely no modifications, so I can for sure concentrate money on getting it and keeping it truely mint :) But I will spread that out and stop being impatient as other things need to get a look in moneywise too.
