Yeah it's not abandoned, I ride up it often - through the valley climb the surface is pretty new.

Sorry, worded it wrong. Fox is right it was the old a625, I've just always called it winnats pass for some reason . I have cycled/walked it a dozen times and tend to drive there a lot when I need that thinking space.

Link to some pics of it:

Follow the abandoned road brings you to a cafe, from there you can follow a trail up to top of the hill, with a load of old artifacts on the way. A good 4-5 hour round walk.

The picture of my car is right next to the gate where the road is now closed off, and collapsing.

Yep, st220 went a couple of days ago.

Its a 325i Msport so the 3.0 straight 6 engine. Pretty much the same power as the Mondeo, just not as responsive.

Remove the M badge, looks utterly stupid on a non-m car. Otherwise looks nice (wouldn't have black wheels on black myself but each to their own)

Agreed.

Get it off. And repaint them wheels while you're at it.

Thanks...

Managed to get off early today so i went for a drive up to Winnats Pass. Open country roads + roof down = ****ing freezing, so the roof soon went back up :D

Quick filthy pic before i froze to death:

Love it.

Pictures ruined because no iDrive.

:(

I think I would have the Mini too, 135 might be more powerful but in every other way it is worse?

If you want power and comfort then the 1 series is for you. I wanted something a little more engaging and raw.... The mini ticked those boxes.
