Look him up. His name is Richard Piper. Otherwise known as "Pipes". He's a texture artist for ND, and was a 3D environment artist before that at TT fusion.

He walked out of his job one dinner time after one of the bosses got on his nerves a little too much and never went back. This was around 2007. His Mum told him about an evening course she'd heard about on the radio, and the rest is history.
He put a hell of a lot of work into learning photoshop, Maya etc, including doing a degree in digital media which is when he decided to focus on 3D environments.

His youtube channel is here (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWxUhn1cKgy5jaTVueK_VAQ), though there's been nothing put on it since he went over there.

£60 for the Special Edition version from Amazon at the moment. You get a steelbook, an art book and a few other small things. Got £50 of Amazon credit to use so I've gone for it, seeing as it'll be the last one.

Luckily they have the backing of a multi billion dollar company so they can afford a bit of a loss......

I like both tbh each has benefits and cons..

I'm hoping Uncharted 4 does not have the same awful combat as the first 3. I found it really bad replaying them on PS4 it seemed even more exaggerated.

Looking forward to this but not as excited as I was for them a few years back.

I'm looking forward to UC4, but to be fair to the One there are some fairly hyped games on the horizon that side also. Interested to see how Quantum Break turns out.

IMO, the console war this generation was done when Microsoft absolutely bombed during E3. Don Mattrick, second hand games etc, it was over before it began.

I don't think the combat was too bad I'm UC1/2 on Ps4, haven't played 3 yet but I'm excited for this, it looks amazing.

Bit pathetic in here isn't it.

Unsure what Uncharted has to do with Microsoft vs Sony, however it IS about the only good exclusive game Sony have anymore, so hopefully something I can dust the PS4 off for!

It's a shame uncharted gets such acclaim considering both Tomb Raider's are better than the first 3 uncharted games.
