Whut??? I use it all the time for BluRay AND DVD
Anyone have problems with external HDD randomly losing detection? Every now an again i'll wake the console up from sleep, and the external HDD won't be visible. I unplug and connect it again, still doesn't detect it.
Just seems to randomly start working again, i'm yet to find a reliable process to get the console to register the HDD.

The problem above had become worse, my One stopped detecting the external HDD completely.
If anyone else has a similar issue, or problems with Kinect not powering on, I fixed both of these problems by disconnecting all the cables into the One for a minute or so, reconnecting everything and powering on.

Not "yet" I haven't, have been using mine a while without issue
I use it quite a lot too, but with xbox live getting hammered last night it wouldn't play, just constantly closes (like the rest of the Apps)

Switch to offline and everything works perfectly.
It equates to £240 for just a 1TB XB1. You can most certainly do a lot better, at least choose a bundle that includes games for a similar price. I've seen many. Here's a place with a much better bundle that includes 2 games:

I've not really had issues this week although I've mostly been playing mornings and during the day.
The second APU in the console's is to be activated, doubling the console's power.
Miss realistically, OS updates, cortana maybe, and/or a VR headset or holo lense for Xbox.
I thought the rumour was that they where bringing a new updated more powerful chip based on the latest AMD polaris architecture
take a look on the rainforest.
There is a external caddy that sits flush on the left hand side of the box. The caddy connectes to the USB3 port.
It add's a HDD and also two front facing USB ports. I have one (not yet put in a HDD in, I just wanted the front facing USB ports to tidy up the box).

I'd be pretty confident that's what will happen. They'll say it'll get a slightly faster cpu and then not say much more. Then come e3 they will show a smaller and cooler running xbox, but with the big surprise of a Thunderbolt 3 port. Allowing a graphics amplifier to be plugged in giving pc like graphics...
..then I wake up. Pipe dreams eh! Still, never know.
