There's a huge difference between drivers up north/Scotland and the southerners.
Growing up in Scotland, driving in snow was just what you did. This was in the days before winter tyres, people just took more care but realised if you used the roads it would keep them clear enough to keep using them.
Down here, people see a flake of snow and completely panic - posts above show that quite nicely! It's hardly a complete whiteout

Gosh I can't imagine why that might be.
I wonder if you can help me fix the other burning question I can't seem to work out, in Norway everyone seems to be able to drive fine but as soon as there is a freak snowstorm in Texas, people are killed in serious accidents
My 2004 Saab 9-5 aero. Finally got to the bottom of the list of minor things to sort out today. It's now got working abs/ESP, safe UHP tyres, new engine mounts, a clean sump with proper oil and fresh ATF. Feels like a completely different car to when I bought it.
I LOVE this thing. It's not exotic. It's not expensive. It's not RWD and doesn't handle like a performance car. But it's comfortable and stupidly quick once you get past 30ish mph. It's sublimely comfortable but just feels special. They're rare and different - the fact that most people including the majority here won't "get" it just adds to the appeal. Puts a grin on my face every day, and that's what enjoying cars is all about, even if they're not obvious or to everyone's taste

Actually like that colour combo.
Took me a while to get used to it but I'm really liking it. A lot of the leather and plastics were pretty grubby and took some scrubbing but it feels miles nicer now it's clears. Changing the old beige mats for black ones helped tone it down too.
90% of these seem to have black interiors which work well but they're a bit boring, for an interior that's quite unique and interesting, it's nice to have something a bit different. The dash is a dark walnut too

Badly gacked one of my previously pristine alloys 
Someone ran out in front of me, and I put the passenger side front wheel against the curb whilst avoiding them/braking...
The edge of the wheel has curb rash on about 1/3 of it, and three of the spokes are scuffed...
Not happy...

I see your point, but technically, black isn't a colour either
His car is blue not black, blue is definitely a colour
