Do you drive in those conditions, or do you stay firmly put?
I personally wouldn't want to attempt it.
There's a huge difference between drivers up north/Scotland and the southerners.
Growing up in Scotland, driving in snow was just what you did. This was in the days before winter tyres, people just took more care but realised if you used the roads it would keep them clear enough to keep using them.
Down here, people see a flake of snow and completely panic - posts above show that quite nicely! It's hardly a complete whiteout

Badly gacked one of my previously pristine alloys
Someone ran out in front of me, and I put the passenger side front wheel against the curb whilst avoiding them/braking...
The edge of the wheel has curb rash on about 1/3 of it, and three of the spokes are scuffed...
Not happy...
