The UN says the EU migrant crisis is largely the EU's own fault.

What 1 million plus are you referring to?

How, exactly, will Turkey be a "migrant crisis"?

The migrants.

Turkey is heading down a totalitarian\dictatorship path for me and the consequences that will follow wont be good, hence plenty of Turks will want to leave.

Turkey is not on a good path right now but it's a very, very long way from becoming the kind of cluster-flip that, for example, Syria is. Countries don't produce refugees in large enough numbers to trigger a crisis like the current one.

You have proved yourself to being deliberately obtuse. Germany have confirmed that they themselves have taken in 1.1 million. And as for Turkey, being the inflated border/ landmass they are, will have a crisis from the people flow from Syria, Iraq, afghan, Libya.... The list goes on, they are the direct route by land. Therefore if nobody helps and people close borders from turkey, they will have an enormous problem. Are you retarded or deliberately argumentative?e

Yes, I know that. What has that got to do with visa-free travel for Turkey?

If that is what Arazi is trying to talk about he's not expressing himself very clearly, how does that relate to "Turkey is heading down a totalitarian\dictatorship path for me and the consequences that will follow wont be good, hence plenty of Turks will want to leave."?

He's not saying there is a link between migrants and dictatorship. He's saying that if you look beyond the migrant mess, Turkey is becoming a very oppressive country and the current leader is showing signs of being more of a dictator more than a cosy western democratic leader.' As a result, once Turkey manipulate the EU into membership, people will flood from the oppressive Turkey to the likes of Germany, France, Sweden...UK.

And the potential number who would leave Turkey on a "holiday" or "working visit" and not return would make the current migrant crisis look like a coach load of pensioners invading the pub's toilets on the way back from Bognor....

The only way to stop inter-European migration is to have the same benefits across all countries.

The best evidence we have shows that benefits are not an important motivating factor driving migration between EU countries* so there's no reason to think that would make much difference at all.

* - which is, incidentally, why Cameron's renegotiation was so pointless.

Thank you, I couldn't be arsed replying to him anymore.

Also your post is pretty much what my opinion of this whole saga is.

And again, thanks.

I don't know how some people do not actually see what i am saying and what you posted above, i might be crap at explaining my opinion sometimes but you understood no problem.

I think you missed the part where I said "migration between EU countries". We're not talking about the refugee crisis.

Ok, we can get a bit more cynical about the EU\Turkey deal, lets say Turkey gets in the EU, Turkey heads further and further down the wrong path, any Turkish citizen can then leave Turkey because of the probable atrocities that will start.

Do you not think that Erdoğan has had this plan for a while, all the people in Turkey that do not like him can then go, and pretty much all you have left will be the hard line supporters of his government.

IMO.

So UN has said that the EUs one in one out deal with turkey is illegal...

It is laughable, it is the same process a bouncer follows at a busy night club, or on a car park that has no spaces.

And we let these people rule us and make the law.

Next time try using words to explain what you mean. It was not at all clear from anything you wrote what on earth you were talking about; you, in fact, appeared to be trying to make completely different points to the ones Lima put forth.

Really, Lima understood why didn't you? and i used words, did you not see them? Lima said you where being obtuse, i took it as you being an arse.

Anyway, more Merkel rubbish, she has got some neck blaming others and saying decisions in the EU should be taken as a whole, that is except for her inviting them all over in the first place.

Beggars belief really.
