Clash of Clans

I've been playing it all day (Royale), managed to get up to 1050 trophies and reach level 7 in one day :)

I've been out of wars for a few weeks now, levelling up walls and heroes. That's the first extended period of time that I've been out of wars since they started.

I appreciate that Clash Royale may be occupying the time of some, but since the last CoC update things just haven't been the same. We are now regularly warring with 1/3 of the players in the clan, and the clan has become increasingly inactive in other ways too. Chat is much quieter and donations - whilst I've no complaints at all as a recent heavy user - are much slower than they used to be. In short, we just don't seem to be as active as before.

That might be the game since the update, or it might be the clan - I'm not sure which. I'm not offering a solution here, just an observation: if we continue this way then we're unconsciously slipping away from what we'd agreed on - to primarily be a war clan.

Do we need to have a re-think on what we actually want out of our clan? We're a decent bunch, and there's no internal conflict, but I've never known it to be this quiet and distant since I joined a couple of years ago.

The update for me was a way back in, I needed something new and the update provided it for a short period. But I've grown tired of it again and at the minute I'm just logging in to donate, collect mines and maybe a raid if I feel up to it. I haven't been able to sustain my interest in CoC for about year now, but for some reason I still can't let it go completely.

A lot of the clan have been there a long time... perhaps, like me, people are just growing weary of it?

It's just got a bit samey and waiting ages to save up for upgrades, then having to wait days/weeks for them to complete and just get raided - I just cba with it sometimes.

This pretty much sums it up for me. Losing interest but too much time invested to just cut the cord

I've been playing this game for waaay too long now. I've always been fairly steady but recently have felt my interest starting to wane. I've been playing FFRK and more recently Clash Royale as well.

I'm kind off at a stage where even with TH11 I 'm missing a level off some defences, missing about 3 lab upgrades and missing some levels off outer walls and heroes are 25/25/10. Everything now needs a massive investment of time for a very small return that I'm struggling to see is worthwhile. I would like to play with L3 witches but 160,000 DE is about 4 weeks of saving with the occasional raid and war (which loses DE!).

I've just turned my war back on as that is the main thing that kept me playing for so long. I'm guessing that I won't be playing this in 2017....
