There's no definite time frame at the minute. We are waiting for Unreal Engine 4.11 to drop at any time now (should have been a few days ago but there have been some last minute blockers) which should have lots of new great things we can use in that. Epic have realised their animation system is not up to scratch while developing Paragon so 4.11 has some major improvements in there. It will take time for us to integrate 4.11 into Squad thought.

Ajax has been pumping out some great stuff for ages. It was only a matter of time before we took him on!
 
Really tempted by this as im having trouble finding a game to play atm nothing is keeping my attention for more than a few hours but maybe a new FPS could. Many of you play and use TS or Discord dont fancy going it alone if i do pick this up as it seems to play a lot better working as a team or is the community a lot better than other fps?

The in game coms are excellent and more than enough though I do use TS when I play with mates.
Also I have never known a game like it, you join a squad of strangers yet everyone talks and works together, its a superb experience!

Then the game itself, its making huge progress for its infancy!

I'd go as far as saying if you try playing alone, you just won't like it. The whole essence of the game is the teamwork. Like shedlo says, a massive majority of players are playing it properly, I've only been playing a week or so but in my experience so far it's very rare to find a bad squad that aren't working together.

Definitely use in game comms
 
Yeah thats what i was sort of worried about as no one i play other games with plays this so if the community was bad then i definitely wouldnt like it as ide more than likely be playing on my own for a while
 
Yeh I haven't had any problems so far. I left a couple of games last night because the squads were poorly organised, with no leadership, so the squad were scattered everywhere, but that was the first time in like 20-30 games. Everyone is normally concentrated on working together to achieve the objective. It's great.
 
From one of our programmers:

It's going to take us some time to port. Some stuff really broke. Give us a week or two to get the game playable again and then we'll probably have more info on how it performs and runs.

Question though how much of an effect on already development can a engine update bring?
Is it possible to break something completely for good or is they always a work around.

I ask this because I know a lot of extra work has went into networking etc
 
I bought this game but so far have gone back to Project reality until it matures. It has great potential, but I rushed in thinking it was a new improved graphical version of PR but with no vehicles and a much lower take on squad play I need to wait a few months.

What I was really liked on one map near sunset where the graphics, so close to real life and I know it will be a huge hit. Well done and keep up the good work.

Only odd issue I have on my PC is with the voip, I can only get it out of my headset when I change my soundcards output on the headphone jack to 'sub output'? Doing this every time I started the game was a right pain. Game or pc issue?
