*** The Official Xbox One Thread ***

It's streamed at 4K on PC, I think and the Xbone downloads it at 1080p. I know I shouldn't but I'm laughing at the guys in the PC thread. They're having a field day over the poor porting.

I think it's more like it's a copy of the xbone version and therefore not good enough for a high end PC.

Starting to look like it's not been ported at all - the PC version has exactly the same blur-fest 720p graphics as if it's emulating the game.

Has anyone even bothered with the Xbone version?

I am finding Quantum Break rather enjoyable...the time powers are very well done.

Yeah need to pick it up really, has had quite good reviews!

Got too many games to play not enough time though at the moment. Still need to put more time into RotTR, Division, Fallout, Forza etc! Another great month for Gold as well with Dead Space!

Is Quantum Break a bit of a stinker then? tempted to get it. No official thread either on this forum, who dropped the ball:p

Yeah it's pretty bad, to start with it looks like a 360 game, eveything is blurry and textures on walls etc load as you get close to them with a fair bit of delay. The textures are terrible to start with.

OK you can overlook graphics if the game is good, I actually thought this was an action game but it more of a story with a built in TV series. That alone would be OK if the story was good but it's not and very boring, I think I went over 20 minutes without having any interaction with the game (my controller actually went into power save/turned off).

I haven't finished it yet but it looks like a very short game, I played 4 houtrs on the weekend and it said 35% overall game completion. Just as well really I like finishing games and won't have to be bored for an excessive amount of time.

I loved alan wake and was hoping for something of similar quality, unfortunatly not.

If you haven't purchased it yet don't wait until its £10 or free on XB live.

Texture quality has actually been praised in most reviews (the pop-in as they load is a different matter).

Sounds like you're missing the point of the game, considering it's always been discussed as a game/tv cross. Of course there will be long sections of tv...

From the look of things, it would appear that most people are just pirating it for PC and then getting upset that it isn't optimised for the platform. Which is massively LOL-worthy.
