Spring rolls with a vermicelli salad

Cold chicken fried rice from the local Chinese. Not too bad tbh. I daren't ridk reheating it as apparently rice can be a bit dodgy according to my sister who's a chef.
 
Just had a sausage, mushroom and hashbrown sandwich from the snack wagon round the corner from work, filled a gap until 12.30 when I'll go again.. :p
 
Pork belly, roast potatoes and purple broccoli with a sauce made from caramelised onions and reduced down chicken stock (with a little added soy and Worcestershire for an extra umami kick). Pretty tasty.
 
I'm currently working in LA, my last few meals have been;

Tacos and assorted mexican at Cascabel's, Toluca Lake
BBQ'd octopus to start, Miso glazed black code with ponzu sauce for main at Moonshadows, Malibu (this was amazing)
Philly Cheesesteak at Philly's Best, Burbank
Chili Cheesedog at Barney's Beanery, West Hollywood
French dip sandwich at The Smokehouse, Burbank

So far I'm doing pretty well, Vegas next week :cool:
