Just back form Scotland in time for work tomorrow, I drove home in a Rx8, Quite a nice little car.

Hmm, I don't really know. I have never had a V8, it sounds amazing, its not too common, it looks nice so its just something a bit different. In 4 years only 78 have been sold in the uk.

It's S-Tronic not R-Tronic. So it's good but manual better still I am feeling. Suspension is a challenge too at the moment, very stiff. Sitting in some snobby restaurant outside Inverness about to start the North Cost 500 in the morning. 480 miles today at 29.8mpg. THAT is astonishing!!!

That is astonishing for sure! I guess driving in auto non sport mode?

Best I have seen is 24 trying to be economical!

I wonder how much adjustability there is in that suspension setup, could someone do a slightly softer fast road setup? Plus was almost as hard as a GTR with the chassis in Race.

Yes, the S-Tonic is the latest dual clutch seamless shift, really very nice on and off the track if you won't want a 3rd pedal. Auto Sport mode around Silverstone was fantastic, forget about the pedals and focus on the track.

Not sure what adjustment is there but will review. On the right road, exceptional but on bumpy town roads it is hard work. Frankly not disimilar to the GT3.
