US: Fear the Walking Dead

Man the episode summary isn't even on Wikipedia yet 2 days later. That shows how little interest there is in this show :p

Not been watching but I have been following the plot on there..

The bit with the zombies coming over the sand dunes reminded me of that scene in Austin Powers with the steam roller, only even worse because they backed themselves into a dead end

So this boat that was hot on their trail armed with 50 cal machine-guns and faster than Strands boat...apparently its still incapable of catching up to them with their boat out of action for the best part of a day? At the end of the first episode they made it seem as if it was right up their ass, yet still its not managed to catch up....

Another episode that had all the legitimacy of a Benny Hill chase scene.

What stupid decision making exactly? I love how everyone seems to think they'd be making based decisions on day 14 of a zombie apocalypse. Especially when you consider these characters exist in a world that didn't have zombie pop-culture and thus has almost no concept of things.

Strand seems to be doing OK. So what makes you think others can't be as based?

I thought this was a much better episode, provided quite a few answers. Not sure about hot wiring a multi million dollar yacht like that but whatever, really liked the flashbacks to before/during the outbreak would like to see some more of that.

Erm, yeah he Strand stuff was nice to flesh out his character, but the rest of it? Uhm, I'm not sure how I feel about this really, I pretty much hate all the characters apart from Strand, Nick and Daniel.

Probably had some kind of military training, as he was Mr. Abigail's 'fix it' man by the look of the flashbacks. 100% headshots from a rubber speedboat is a bit special though...

I did think it was amusing how Nick and the guy got out of the Porsche by the boat and walkers were nearly upon them but they were just casually strolling yet in last week's episode they got pinned down onto the beach in seconds...

I think what happened on the boat will make them all a bit tougher and more likely to shoot first, ask later, especially Chris, which will make things a bit more believable.

Stuff happens and then in 10 seconds it's all sorted.

Not quite, there is the small matter of the two kidnapped family members.
