Praise Allah to be on British buses

A cult is a religion without enough power, a religion is a cult with enough power. If I start a religion and 20 people believe in it and no-one cares and we have no power, it would be called a cult. If 200 million people believed in it and we had therefore had enough power, it would be called a religion even if it was exactly the same thing it was when only 20 people believed in it and it was called a cult. The distinction is purely about power.

I don't respect religion, regardless of how much power any particular religion has. The idea that a religion with enough power automatically deserves respect is one I disagree with.

Exactly how I see it, and it's a view that should be equally accepted as any mainstream Religion's.

Nobody should be forced to respect something they find ridiculous.
 
Next thing will be,"Allah cards"..earn points on your card and get a free ride when you travel on a London Praise Allahu akbar bus. :D

Im quite surprised the bus company even would do this to be honest,Especially what happened last time there was an Allahu akbar bloke on their bus.

We aren't really a secular country. The head of state is also head of the state religion and we have Bishops given automatic seats in the House of Lords.
 
I have to admit I'm conflicted on this, part of me thinks that it's nothing, but then I remember back to 2007 and the below and I can't help but think it's in poor taste.

Let's be honest if you're non Muslim you're hardly going to donate to a Muslim charity are you?

Really don't see the fuss. Some overly sensitive individuals on here.

It's only poor taste if you believe 22% of the world's population are responsible for those events.
 
What is in poor taste is associating those attacks with all Muslims. Considering the Christians had their own advertisement a few years back i see no issue with this. I am of the opinion that no one should advertise religion but if you are going to let one group do it, might as well let them all do it.

So where on the buses does it say to fight unbelievers?
 
They are setting themselves up.

They will have to have something on there for everyone to ensure equality etc. This could be very costly....

Stupid move IMO. At least they weren't stupid enough to put a picture of Mohammed on them... Nobody would dare ride on them.... Lol.
