Praise Allah to be on British buses

That's only true when the immigration is on a small enough scale and the immigrants don't have a lot of power and a high enough proportion of them want to integrate. Which used to usually be true for immigration into this country. It isn't any more, not since the scale of immigration became too large and multiculturalism became the dominant ideology on the subject.

Based on what, gut feeling?

They do have the same god. Judaism, Christianity (Judaism 2) and Islam (Judaism 3) have the same god. There are many differences, but they have the same god.

Christianity also has the rather odd trinity thing, where that 1 god is 3 while being 1, but it's the same god.

Jesus is a prophet in Islam and not God. How can he be not God at all in Islam to being God in Christianity when apparently Christians and Muslims have the same God.

? Jesus is God's son in Christianity (other than the whole trinity thing).

I think the context there is "in spirit" which is a bit beyond my experience to explain but it doesn't make him God.

He isn't saying he is God but that for instance if you insult God you also insult him or if you insult Jesus you also insult God, etc.

They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity.

is the bus company making money off the sky fairy brigade?

does this allow them to subsidise the service or improve it due to the financial gains?

if yes then who cares, you could write praise our evil Insectile overlords for all I care.

i'd be more annoyed by someone posting a car advert quoting stupid unachievable mpg figures, (probably more chance of meeting a sky fairy than getting 65 mpg out my Mondeo

Yeah Liberal works too, they are basically interchangeable.

No one has associated an advert with terrorist attacks, that's just something you've posted for some reason. My point was that Islamic culture (specifically the kind of culture we see in most Middle Eastern Arabic countries) isn't something that's compatible with Western culture on the whole due to the aforementioned points.

Left and liberal aren't interchangeable at all, but you MUST have known that right? Bit like saying right and fascist are interchangeable. ;)

You also erm to have forgotten malevolent spots on the first page, or are you conveniently ignoring that too?

As for the mixup between culture, government and religion, I guess we can cal that as strike three...;)

Regardless of the subject matter whether something is fact or not is completely relevant, any sane person will side with something that is actually a fact, shirley.

None of the above are in the news bombing, stabbing, shooting or raping people are they?

As you can see in threads all across this forum - if you don't agree with a fact it by and large just gets ignored and people keep olgoing with their insular opinions, spouting their version of "fact", while ignoring actual facts that disagree with their narrative unfortunately.

“I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God.

Ahh, ultra religious follower of one religion one of the main bashers of another religion. Things haven't changed in thousands of years...:p

Either way allah is not exclusively used to denote a Muslim God. Millions of Christians use the term too, just depends what language you speak.

I guess extremely devout religious people are taught different things to people taught with a passing interest in school and taught different interpretations.

Funny that, reminds me of another religion and the differences in interpretation...

Like the Jews you are misunderstanding - the one in this context is collective.

I find it fascinating how many Christians get hung up on very specific, sometimes literally interpreted, aspects and completely miss the more important sentiment of the original passage.

I find it even more funny said books have been transcribed throughout the ages with all the proven mistakes and twisting depending on folk how felt
This alone to me makes me think hang on a minute is this what I am basing my entire belief structure on true?

correct answer is No its all hogwash and therefore an untruth. So against trade description and be taken down

Unfortunately too many people take too many things too literally. :(

Sorry, but the original passage is what ?

Again see my post above about translation errors, how the poor scribe felt on the day errors, what the top chief nutters of the abbey told said poor scribe to write and what the top chief nutters boss of the country told him to write and I dare say what the top chief nutters boss of a pope told him to write.

Its big stinking mess of a book that has caused way far to much trouble than it really should and its time all advertising is banned like ciggies on a race car. As you cant single out Embassy number 1 from Benson and Hedges all should be banned.

Not quite pinned down where vaping sits, lets class all that as crystals and stuff like that.

So there is Christianity compared to ciggies, both sold on a lie, and while might offer comfort short term both will kill you.

Maybe one our atheist`s with a background Islamic folkore can do the same but using that nasty stuff they used to put in Ki Ora and Umbongo.

I assumed Roffs comment (and subsequently my response) was more to do with people reading the bible (or other religions texts, whatever translation) and taking it too literally, rather than reading it as stories that should help you do "good" in your life.

I assume most people understand that things like the King James Bible are littered with translation "errors", although I may be making the mistake of attributing too much intelligence to too many people. :D

What is that phrase? "Assumption being the mother of all ****ups"? :p
