Its amazing for me. It started of a little slow but its picked up much more as its gone on and the enviroments only get better and better. What this game does better than any other game iv played is character dialogue. All the comments and little quips while traversing the enviroments really adds so much to the character of the game and I love it.
I'm near the end of the game and it has been utterly amazing. So many huge grins for so many reasons. Dialogue, set pieces, graphics, scenery, emotion and storytelling. the facial expressions they get on their characters faces are simply amazing. Most actors can't portray emotions as effectively as ND seems to be able to render them. Will deffo play through again and take my time to appreciate the scenery more. I'm just too excited to see where the story takes me sometimes!

Decided to wait a couple of days until my order for compressed air and torx security T8 screwdriver had arrived earlier today. Took the PS4 apart this afternoon after watching a youtube guide and gave it a good clean out. Quite a lot of dust later and with the PS4 now back together, I can hardly hear the fans

Did you change the paste?
That's something you should only really consider doing if you have a properly loud PS4 no matter what and it's already out of warranty.
Mine for instance. It's been super loud since Day 1. Obviously has nothing to do with any dust buildup, it's probably more likely to be a thermal paste issue. I'm just not willing to go in and do all that.
It does go to show that the PS4's form factor was certainly 'on the limit'. I would argue that it's probably over the limit a bit and its cooling is downright inadequate. My PS4 is easily twice as loud under load as my PC, which has far more powerful components in it.
Just got to Chapter 16, slowly coming to an end i feel in a few more hours gameplay, id estimate this game to take roughly 20-24 hours gameplay. Really enjoying it and started to take the story in and have a sense of opinion and feeling on the characters even though i've never played an Uncharted before.
I wasnt rapid at all. Played on normal, got treasure when i could find it,watched all cutscenes etc. Many people say it takes between 12 and 14 so its about right.
Id struggle to see where the extra 7 hours would go...its not like its an open world type game.
So got this and doom, If it wasnt for the sun on my tv and lung/chest infection i would have played this more only on chapter 5! However my god its pretty, its the most beautiful game i have ever seen all the small details, i really cant wait to get stuck in!
The release and the fantastic reviews of this has kickstarted me to start the Unchartered remastered trilogy on my PS4. I have them all on the PS3 and never played them (I am notorious on buying games at full price and then playing them years later when I could have picked them up heavily reduced).
Really enjoying it.
Which is great, but also **** for Doom (4), which will now fall into the digital gathering dust category until I get through them.
Unchartered 4? Well depends how long it takes to get through the first three.

They can be short if you intend on just playing it through if you want all collectibles and to 100 each one may take a while, uncharted 1 hasn't aged as well however it's still great but the series becomes a masterpiece from 2 on wards

Bought this based on the feedback from the thread, having never played an UC series game before i jumped straight into 4 and enjoying it very much.
Main reason i bought a PS4 originally was for TLOU and im happy to see im actually using the system again now for this

Taking me an age to get used to the controller for aiming, trying my best not to turn the snap to enemies option on as i expect it will make the game too easy.
Looking forward to playing it some more but damn these sunny days are wrecking my play time
