So were the white walkers created to kill the wildlings or men that ventured too far north? Have the wildlings always been natives of the north? Could they be the men left/trapped in the north after the wall was built? & also the men tha made the children of the forest create the white walkers.

Going to miss the big man, but he got a fittingly heroic end, more than most do in GoT.

On the plus side, Kristian Nairn won't have to stay up late any more learning his lines :D

white walkers were created to kill men in general, the first men had some deal with the children of the forest and then started chopping down trees and expanding across Westeros... basically the children are the natives and men are the invaders, the white walkers were a weapon in their original insurgency though one that has seemingly gone out of control

Two totally unnecessary deaths in that episode.
1) Summer - I thought direwolves were smart? His sacrifice didn't help or slow them down at all. Made me sad. I think they are just trimming the CGI budget by killing all the wolves.
2) The last 'child of the forest'. Could have lobbed that fancy grenade there bud. Oh well.

Thought exactly the same. I'm sure they get smaller and more like a normal wolf with each series. Same thing with the dragons. EDIT: By that I mean in the last series when the largest of the 3 couldn't even handle a few men with spears. It made them seem really weak, when the show made out they were anything but up to that point. Not sure how she is going to take the iron throne or whatever when they cant even take out a few men with spears.

Never liked him ! His story has alway been really dull and he seems to just gets people killed.

Lol and this! Every time he comes on screen I have the urge to skip forward. Having not read the books I have no clue what his deal is, it just seems to be slowly going nowhere and taking good characters with it.

Hahahahahaha!

Haha, that was great. The show has been missing the comic relief that Arya and the Hound used to bring to it.

So, guy held in a complex organic matrix, able to see the past and influence present events, who is looking for a successor. I'm sure I've seen that somewhere before. Oh yeah, the 3 Eyed Raven is simply a rework of Draal from Babylon 5. The Heart Tree = The Great Machine on Epsilon III.

Did I miss an important scene involving Sansa?

I'm also quite confused.

Took out more than a few but I think they are relatively weak when on the ground and surrounded. Once in the air though...

Bran wishes he could Ham it up as well as Draal (the second Draal).

And if we're doing that plot we need Zathras.
