A mixed episode.

I hoped we'd see the end of the High Sparrow and his moobs this week. His plotline is dragging almost as slowly as Daenerys's.

Some interesting developments elsewhere though, especially with Arya and Bran/Benjen. I quite enjoyed seeing some of Sam's back story too, albeit filler.

Thought it was a really dull episode myself, and the High Sparrow storyline is really boring and frustrating.

Oh well, there will be muchos blood soon, I can feel it.

Things aren't going as I expected.

I thought the Sparrow stuff would be a huge fight, but it's veering away from that, I also thought it would be Starks/Vale against Ramsay but it's veering away from that. Probably could still end up that way but it's not going quite how I expected it.

Well if you watched the trailer, then you know

..that Sparrow fighting is coming soon. There is a scene where Sparrow troops and Lancel Lannister are standing up to Cersei and the Mountain, and he orders them to stand aside or there will be violence, at which point Cersei chooses violence. So something might be happening soon.

She was never going to conform, that was clear the moment she stashed Needle under a rock.

Deep down she never wanted to be a faceless person. She's Arya Stark, and she wants it to be Arya Stark that inflicts vengeance upon those that wronged her family, not a faceless nobody.

I was starting to think her being "tested" has never been about getting her to conform to the "many faced god." The real test was to see if she would hold true to her self, I suspect Jaqen has his money on Arya dispatching the waif girl.

I don't like how much time Sam/Gilly took up of the episode, certainly mostly filler, must be saving the budget for something... (Yes, I know what.)

Was glad to see Benjin back though.

The speech was fine but it should have been part of the last one. Instead of her knocking over the baskets of fire, Drogon sets the hut alight. Walks out unburnt, speech, mounts Drogon.
