The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Good games again tonight, really enjoying be back on this again.

Will be on tomorrow about 7/8

Really liking thermals for tanking now, not as good for long range but means I can be quite a bit more aggressive since everyone is much easier to see and I can easily see mines etc. too.

Platoon kick TBH, Not even set OcUK as primary platoon. :rolleyes::p

Epic games again, shame Xin came on so late, but I should be on for longer tonight.
 
sorry didnt get on last night, got absolutely **** faced in the pub, let the occasion get to me yesterday with the game and the evening. Came in at midnight to a raging wife, hanging this morning haha.

Will try to eg ton tonight :)

Forgot that when you join a new platoon, it sets it as your main one so Team UK would have been my last primary platoon as well :p Shall change it later on!

Yeah if the HMG hadn't been nerfed so much for longer range, I probably would have stuck with zoom but as it is, there is no point of having zoom now.

He got kicked for his ping anyway (playing from Canada)

Not the only one mate I was only meant go out to watch the game but ended up staying out dreading finding out how much money I spent as I was buying the rounds most the night :eek:

I'll be on about 8-9pm

Yeah I don't think zoom makes much difference to a sabot shot, I've got used to pointing at a pinhead for that, and like you say the HMG is a bit more hit and miss now at range.

Being able to spot mines and people hiding in rubble when you push a flag is invaluable.

I switched from reactive armor to thermal camo too now, and caught a lot of people off guard with it. It doesn't seem to have negatively impacted my survive-ability against RPGs. (If anything I think it takes the lock-ons longer to lock on, so that's a win too.)

haha yep....trouble is, I know exactly how much I drew out of the bank before hand, looking at the coins in my pocket this morning is the sign of a great day/night.

I miss the days of being able to snipe infy across the map with the HMG, it caused so much rage especially when it was a l33t pro sniper camping on the edge of the map like Josh the other night on paracel :p :D

Yeah I don't use zoom much with sabot, quite good for long range aircraft sniping but not much else really.

Also switched to thermal camo a few days ago after seeing first hand how enemy tanks with thermal camo are basically not shown at all when using thermals and of course longer lock on time is a nice bonus.

Think I am also going to switch aircraft (at least jets anyway) to thermal camo, the amount of lock ons is crazy.

I got awsome solution for this, no friends and no social life, WORKS EVERYTIM ! saves moneys too :D

I noticed that the hmg is quite poop in the distance but I thought it was me blind, do you you LMG now ? the options are lmg and hmg no ?
 
Nah still use HMG, LMG is ok but HMG has a quicker TTK + better for range still and it does damage to transport vehicles which is handy for finishing them off.

I'd actually thought about doing the same but not made the change. Will give it a go and see how long I last. Been a load of noobs on recently and its been MBT Law heaven for them...hopefully it'll slow down the number or rounds they get into me before I pullback/take them out.

I always end up with a tonne of coins in all my pockets as I always use notes at the bar probably cause I'm to drunk to give the correct change, at least I'm never short for change for a few weeks lol

Enjoying playing recon again now just wish there were more options to combat vehicles and not just c4.

Speak for yourself, for me and my new potato aim it was spawn>(killed by smartcar)>spawn>(killed by BG)>spawn(Killed by smartcar). Was pretty much rinse and repeat for a good 7mins lol

I have to get a new mouse!
