im pretty sure when ive used the word bigot it was in the same sentence as "people who only voted leave based on immigration" so please dont BS and ignore the context as that is truly ignorant, what I said wasnt.

I wasn't replying to you, I was making a general point. So calm down.

People who aren't short sighted.
But those in the remain camp want to stay as is, they don't want to see what things are like on the other side of the fence. The leave camp are prepared to do so and take that step into somewhat uncertainty. Doesn't this by very definition mean that it is the remain who are the short sighted?

The triumphalism and bitterness of some in this thread is disappointing. Can I urge everyone to take a deep breath, calm down and think before we post. What happened yesterday is democracy at its finest, people can have differing visions and views but it needn't be about division.

There goes any hope of being Great Britain again within our lifetime. Small minded, Little Britain mentality has won out. Britain now stands alone and divided... very sad.

/Salsa

And you don't think your own take on it isn't adding to the division?

I am a remain voter but the sneering attitude to those that voted leave by some almost made me not vote at all. The Remain campaign failed to convince people that the EU was worth staying in.

May well be, but I have a lot of friction with the half the morons in my street who do not work, dont intend to work and never will work. Id rather a million working foreigners in compared the lazy half wit baboons I have near me

K.....doesnt cha ge the fact that a lot of areas have had violence and problems and have decided to vote to try and cha ge that.

Just as if you had a vote to get rid of the people you have a problem with i inagine you would

Interesting fact for the day.

If you randomly punch someone over 18 in the street today, there is a 52% chance they'll deserve it!

Pretty sure if you take a look at your passport it says EUROPEAN UNION right above United Kingdom dude. They are all laid out the same as the other 27 member states and we will have to get non eu passports eventually

Yes, it's a standard design.

Now open the page and read the bit where it says the traditional bit about allowing passage.

It's a British passport and would probably change style if/when we finally leave but the eligibility of it and the ability of the holder to travel will not change (except possibly EU countries). Read the page with all your data. Who is the issuing authority?

EDIT: Even the Mirror agrees.

One financial journalist seemed to confirm this by stating on Twitter that our passports are issued by the UK government - and not the European Union - so they will remain valid.

Exactly. I was in the 'Remain' camp but can take this defeat with a smile and chuckle (and nice cup of tea). I love watching democracy in action. I'll be ok. Britain will be ok.

So you think that by voting leave they are going to get up and go?
