Ok great that will of course apply ro all future referendums.
So the default position is leave.
And eill remain so unless remain get more than 60% of 75% turnout.
If they dont achive that the leave vote stands
It's not uncommon to have referenda with a turnout and super majority requirement.
I would actually be happy to have another referendum along these lines, with the default position as leave.
Remain would walk in above 60% as the reality of leaving sinks in, and the realisation that there's everything to loose and precious little to gain.
If leaving the EU meant apply 99% of EU rules, agreeing to free movement and paying in roughly the same money in order to get access to the single market, who's going to vote to leave?
