Hey, we are taking punts at the leader of the Tory party here.
Colourful lines and out-of-the-hat-inside-the-box thinking is par for the course. But he could Trump IDS, and IDS got to be leader, with his Victorian fantasies and all. Probably a bit better than May on privacy.

I hope Boris gets it, he deserves the &*&*storm that is coming for winning the Brexit vote when he didn't mean to. he should have to fix the mess he made.

His main problem is the total lack of allies he seems to have. People think he got the easy gig in London, and haven't pulled his weight... ever. How popular is he in the Home Counties, really?

I don't think Zac ever got anything after his London run. Might have the same fate for Bo. I'm sure May knows she might also not get another chance during a quieter time, and will be gunning for him (I doubt she would mind bowing out before the next GE either). Interesting times.

Obviously knows that Boris didn't really want Leave to win the Referendum!
While Gove has the conviction of his beliefs, it often means he's a bit blinkered IMO.

He never said that. He's got a bad record of voting against gay rights but if you've been taken in by a meme going round Facebook with that quote on his picture I suggest watching this....
If Gove wins it will be an even worse choice than Brexit the man is poisonous everything he touch turns to badly privatised nonsense his education 'reforms' were basically a 1950's abomination that have turned our primary schools into exam factories and destroyed the moral of the entire profession, he has then gone on to use exactly the same 'reform' template at the prison service which has again resulted in backwards progress and a destruction of staff morale. He could potentially be the worst prime minister in history as he looks to turn the clock back and close the lid on Pandora's box.

She is good but would be better suited to chancellor if Osborne doesn't stay on. Actually despite the fact that he was a **** during the referendum campaign, and now that I'm a bit less emotional, I think he should stay on for the sake of some continuity and stability.
I suppose if you round up the nastiest, most unlikable members of the Tory party to stand, it does have the effect of moderating how much of a **** Boris or May seems. You'd almost be grateful when either wins it.

I'm pleased to see Gove standing, simply because he can hopefully hobble Boris's race. Anyone who backed Leave has already demonstrated that they lack the judgement necessary to be Prime Minister.
It's a bit worrying that out of the candidates named so far the Crabb/Javid ticket is looking like by far the best for the country.
