now im lvl34 and light 179 , iv got 2 lvl40 arm pieces that are only 3 defence but they have an option for chroma . what is that?

Chrome gives it a colour glow. Light 3 is fine you can infuse anything into it and its a 1:1, so if you get arms that are 270 you can infuse it and get 270 on those Lv40 arms. Keep at it, we can do some raids soon. JPM said last night that his not done Kings Fall either so maybe this weekend we can give it a try, I can do around 10:30 on Friday for the raid. Console if you get too Lv40 by then we can carry you through normal mode without too much of a problem, only difficult part will be totems, if you can hit light 280 (think a few hours grinding can get that) it would be ideal.
Mrs want to run some games so will be on tonight. I will warn you all, she tends to swear quite a lot in pvp.....
She will get on great with Lacey then haha

You need to actually start the raid properly from the director to remove the barrier walls in the way

need a little help with a mission, not to get it done but what i need to do. im on venus on free roam but before i go into it there is a purple crown logo. when i finally get into it the only mission markers are for patrol, not the main story.
Have a look at your Quest screen, it's probably kill x amount of Taken or collect Fallen Shiplinks

Next get TLW, if the game isn't too laggy it does some serious work now. Hawkmoon also felt good.

So I hear Bungie are dropping small tidbits regards Destiny 2, as Im a lapsed player how disadvantaged am I by not playing the game since before TTK hit? Id like to get Destiny 2 just because it should be a much more polished game (that isnt cross gen with PS3/X360) and they would have learnt a lot through Destinys dev cycle but Im kinda not interested in it requiring say a progressed character or knowledge/nuance of the DLC story.
Hell I wouldnt mind them restarting from scratch!

Just to check, when you say Destiny 2 do you mean the new expansion coming out in September, or Destiny 2 which is likely to launch some time in 2017?
If you mean the new expansion in September (Rise of Iron), then I would say you won't be at a massive disadvantage by not playing before it, but you will obviously be limited in what weapons/exotics you have in your arsenal. This can be especially important if the raid has situations where numerous different exotics can be of benefit (think Red Death at Crota or maybe Raze Lighter if there are numerous captains that need to be killed asap)

I seriously cba with Destiny anymore, expansions are too expensive for what they are and I got tired of them nerfing the guns and changing stuff cus of cry babies.
Hopefully they'll have got over all that crap by the time they get round to releasing Destiny 2. No way I'm gunna grind out hours of my life just to get from level 315 (which my characters are all currently at) knowing that it will all probably be a fresh start again knowing Bungie as they will want to get new players on board.

lol deleted my exotic rifle bad juju before from year 1 and just found xur in the reef and he had the new version with 280dmg, when the old one was only 160dmg almost fully upgraded.
Yr 2 vs Yr 1 basically.
If you still had Bad Juju when you started TTK it should be available straight from the kiosk as a year 2 version*. It will cost Legendary marks but you will save the 23 strange coins it would otherwise cost from Xur.
*To applies to any exotic weapon or armour that has been brought forward from Yr 1 to Yr 2 (If you owned it of course).
EDIT: Also to note, Bad Juju is awesome to use in Yr 2.

just got lvl40 and im light lvl235
Bad juju is an old faithful gun to me. Its a fantastic tool to use e.g. challenge of elders when the modifiers slow down super gain or when supers give you most points. its invaluable when you want to get your super quick... its a must have for sure.
I've been putting off iron banner because i have eveything already. I think ill just do it to get some bounties/leg marks.

In that case no, aside from the cosmetic things like shaders/ships/emotes/grimoire I doubt that anything from Destiny 1 is going to be 'useful' in Destiny 2.
If they did let you bring over the weapons, then the only remaining useful weapons would be the god roll pvp legendary weapons you may/may not have. I hope this is the case, as my Ill Will 5 round HC with luck in the chamber and final round is hilarious at times!
