If it's rose tinted specs of me being a young boy watching the races then so be it, tell me I'm wrong.

Furious that their strategy didn't get Rosberg to win.
All I heard was him mention brakes several times, I'll watch it againNo he didn't, at that point he simply responded with a sheepish "yep"

I know he has to look to be doing/saying the right thing, but defending your driver when he clearly cheated has the potential to make you look worse. In public, and in front of Mercedes corporate, what else can he do? In private, things might be different, especially when the whole world is looking at what Nico did and Mercedes are getting their reputation tarnished.
You've given one example and the DM have vague other example. I asked you to to tell me if its rose tinted specs or not as I was a boy at the time (8-14) so didn't get tied up in the full inner workings of F1 I just enjoyed the racing and it seemed a lot less sterile back then and I that's why I said what I did.several examples = cant be bothered.
interesting view point,
compare to your statement with nothing at all to back up your point.

I'm not saying that he should have blamed Rosberg, I'm saying he was way too defensive when Rosberg clearly and intentionally caused a collision. Basically his defence was too strong and vocal, he should have reeled it in a bit.before the video and after the video.
when they actually showed him the onboard he just said "yep" nothing else.
they cant go in public yeah he cheated. both corporate image and stewards investigation.
and NL said similar, break issues let LH get along side, but did not cause the crash and said it was Ros fault.
I don't know what more people want either to say. with out completely shooting themselves and their team in the foot.
