Just confirmed I am 4th in line for a SC. fingers crossed I will have this in my hands Saturday.

Was second in que a week ago today for my card and still waiting....

Where were you prior to the last shipment of 40 shaun (if you don't mind me asking?) I was 44th, so assumed I would be 4th. Usually such a thing would be no big deal, but with only 10 arriving I am starting to worry about folk queue jumping* and edging me out.

*Just to add, this is not aimed at you as I do seem to recall you were round about me in the previous weeks queue.

This is getting interesting - I was 46th last week before the delivery, so I'd have thought I was now 6th.

I'll ask and see, mainly cos I think I'll get squeezed out also.

OC dispatch the GPU's according to the date of order. So say someone purchased a Asus 1080 an hour before I did. Then this week he swapped to the SC (paid the difference) he would be put in front of me by one hour.

Personally they should be put to the back of the que. but that's how OC work. I would have swapped cards but not willing to pay extra/

OK I'm feeling less convinced anyone is going to get the ASUS OC (like me)

I'm starting to look at alternatives.

The Zotac is the card I would personally buy over any of the others, only for me the Gigabyte Waterforce or EVGA Classified could potentially rival it but they cost a lot more.

The Zotac has the most powerful yet quietest cooler and they all seem to boost to over 2GHz out the box and OC to around 2.1GHz simply because of the cooler.

Set the fans to keep temperatures sub 60c which it can do whilst still remaining quiet and this is the only card that can pretty much maintain boost clocks over 2GHz during a gaming session.

Thanks for the info, I have had a Zotac card before and it was cool, quiet and faultless!

I would be very tempted, but unfortunately I already have a waterblock for my (future) Strix Thanks for the update though, much appreciated!

Also, as promised if exchanged rates improved a little (I am taking gamble) I have tweaked a lot of the 1070 prices down!

1080 prices no movement, simply because demand is vastly outweighing any supply still at present, though I am still holding the Palit at £599 which is pretty much our new cost on this card when we re-stock, so the price will go up £30-£40 when we bring in new stock to bring it on parr with other FE price levels.
