You could, because you're a UK citizen. That isn't the case for a lot of countries, you'd have to apply for a Visa and have a valid verifiable reason for travelling there

How do you combat this though? these people (if you can even call them that!) can strike anywhere, at any time, and they sacrifice themselves to cause as much havoc as possible with no true ramifications.

I'm sure that some of these attacks are thwarted by intelligence agencies and border controls, but they clearly can't stop everything no matter how hard they will try to.

If they are French then I will give you that. If they are not then they would have likely triggered a red flag during immigration. It is likely they were already known and so would have come under extra scrutiny when crossing a border.

true, but most of these nutters didn't just fly in to do this, they were born in the country and were somehow indoctrinated into believing they are in some glorious jihad. So no amount of border lock downs will make any difference.

As I say, I've no idea but whatever we are doing at the moment doesnt seem to be working very well, so its daft to continue to do the same thing. We need to change our approach, try a different strategy, though I'm not sure what. Its like we are a boxer trying to fight using the Queensbury rules against a street fighter who is willing to use any method to win.

If you remember last year 2 million people entered Europe, overwhelmingly illegally, with very little resistance.

You carry on with your life as normal because there's nothing you can really do about it, and worrying will just stop you from achieving anything.
