Why not?
NATO is a very old alliance.
During the Cold War many of the members had weak governments.
Imagine Turkey being allied to Russia instead. That would be a disaster.
It has already died due to recent terrorist attacks/Russian conflict.

My brother went to Bodrum a few weeks back for a day trip. Hated it anyway. Market sellers were grabbing him left and right and centre to sell him crap and shouting out 'Ginger' to his girlfriend.
Horrible place.

Islam and it's inherent problems with the knuckle dragging side of its followers is beyond tedious to those over here. Especially when it's only the non knuckle dragging Islam followers can do something about but can't be bothered to.
