What have you done to your car today?

Matt bonnet now being used properly :D

Spent £130 on a DAS6 Pro DA & Menzerna FG400 compound and Menzerna polishers, also 100ml of Nighthawk black Honda paint plus various cloths and wet sand paper basically cost me £300 for everything I needed.

Filled in every stone chip and road rash on the bonnet & bumper, it was a mess! Wet sanded the whole front end and bumper to smooth down the filling with 1200, 1500, 2000 & 3000 grit paper.

Used the FG400 Compound on the whole car taking my time on the bonnet and bumper, used a less abrasive Menzerna compound on the bonnet and bumper to remove all of the sanding marks, then Menzerna polish all over to remove all swirl marks it looks beautiful I was scared but glad I did the whole car. Finished off with Poor Boys Carnauba wax. All that made an instant mirror finish

Died all the trim black with DA Black trim dye, anybody knows Honda Civics the plastic fades so bad.

Spent about 3 days, need to do so much more but don't have a garage so really dependant on the wether.

I need to do the whole car again and do the doors. Hopefully I will have it looking new :)

Found out that a cat now like my roof. Lots of fluff on it and paw prints all over the car. Just gone down stairs and its back sat on it looking content. Went outside and its started to claw at it before it slid down the boot before finally laying on the pavement wanting a belly rub :/

Not the only thing that's likes my roof though, dad told me this morning that two ducks were sat on it.......
