I barely user mine for anything non macro and non tele.
On the beach or was so much nicer to just have a phone
 
Wife is getting a new S7 because of 2 messed up pixels on the camera sensor, come out as bright pink.

And I stupidly popped mine in my pocket and have a couple of scratches on the screen now from the keys that were also in there. Not a biggy really, just annoying.

My wife went from an S4 and me from an S5 and there is a great improvement for us, however, I am not impressed with zooming in via video.

I've never seen anything so grainy in my life :(
 
Received mine yesterday but it would not power on at all. Charged to 100%, but holding the power button did nothing. I've already had an exchange approved, but has anyone else seen/heard of this happening? I've never had anything that's been DOA..
 
Mine has started to freeze up and requires restarting by holding down the power and left power button. It has happened approx 6 times since a firmware update on Sunday morning.
It only happens when the phone goes into hibernate mode. It's been slightly annoying as I have been away on business and just when he you want to make a call, you have to go through the whole reboot process.
I am on Vodafone btw.
 
Quick tip, do not blow into the speaker vent after the phone gets wet! Pressure forces water through the mesh and you end up with a funky home button until it's all evaporated out :eek:

OMG NO this is the first DOA I've EVER heard of. :eek:

It happens occasionally.
 
Been experiencing some slow wake up times on my edge, turns out it was the sd card, ive got a new 128gb in now Z fresh format in the phone and its blazing fast :)
 
Anyone noticing a performance hit since the July patch? I've noticed many apps don't scroll as smoothly eBay and Amazon being 2 examples. It's like there's an fps cap down to 10 or something where as before everything was silky smooth.
 
Mine feels fine since July patch, if anything battery actually improved since. Most likely be one particular app causing the trouble. Managed to get a little over 9 hours screen time using it for Web browsing/WhatsApp yesterday at home before needing to charge it :)
 
Anyone's S7 suddenly stopped fast charging?

I've tried charging whilst off, wiping the cache partition and toggling the feature on/off and two different genuine samsung plugs but still no fast charging?

Well no sooner have I posted I've sussed it out. I bought a second genuine samsung faster charger that came with a Samsung cable. It was the cable preventing fast charge. On closer examination the micro usb connector only has four gold pins not five like all my others.

Now happily fast charging and its 30 mins of my life I won't get back.
