ASUS To Raise Prices In The UK By 9%

What is the issue here? It's already taken care of by how the pound/dollar etc is valued, this is complete trash.

So let's get this straight:

1) There products even though a premium price actually often suck (or badly implemented)
2) RMA sucks
3) BIOS support sucks (Motherboard and GPU) on anything that isn't the most current.

Yet they want to up their prices? Maybe they should invest in customer support.

Ever tried contacting their uk support? Basically all they tell you is to contact the place you bought the product from, so i'm not sure what the point of their uk support is...Presumably a canned email response would suffice instead of having someone physically there to reply to emails.

To pretend something it is not. It is playing the system.

Here's one of the "helpful" responses i got from them.

Dear Gerard,

ASUS as a manufacturer does not sell or send anything directly to end users and as such any requests for replacements can only be addressed to retailer with whom you have the direct purchase contract.

Please contact the retailer for a replacement or refund so we can then get the product you wish.

Best Regards,

ASUS Technical Support

So the Rx 480 strix is now going to cost £316 lol. So much for the $200 performance king. This is entering Fury prices

I've had issues with all but one of the several Asus components I've bought. They charge far too much anyway so this is just ridiculous. Oh well, won't affect me. And those 1080 prices are already insane when compared to competing offerings from other manufacturers.
