I come from a country with proper racism. And I mean proper. You have no clue what racism is.
You Australian mate?

Explain then. Tell us about how you're being persecuted, abused, insulted, what other words are there? Oppressed? Is that one still in fashion? What about cultural appropriation? Can we use that one?

Oh... So whitey isn't allowed an opinion now... That's called racism.

if you people don think racism still exists in the UK then your on another planet, you just have to read this thread.

I like to think of myself as generally a tolerant nice guy but sometimes it honestly feels like there is nothing I can do or say without being immediately labelled as a racist or sexist.
Positive discrimination is still discrimination. ALL lives matter should be the message going out.
What is this to do with borders?
Who said whitey isn't allowed an opinion, i think its fair to say that a black man would find it just as difficult to know what its like being a white man in a predmoninantly black area and visa versa.
Not about not allowing your opinion but rather, you opinion comes from a different place.
I think this protest is stupid but dismissing them as all oppertunists and people manipulating public sympathy is ridiculous. Racism still exists in the UK but not the kind that can be stopped with a protest.
Didn't realise this was a thing in the UK. Is it a bit like how we adopted Black Friday?

All lives matter, equally...
OMG I must be racist as I don't rate the worth of life based on the colour of the skin... pffft!
DON'T FEED THE TROLL ABOVE (drs101)
how have i trolled? you just dont like what i'm saying
Black Lives Matter is an entirely sensible movement in the US; it seems odd to carry the same slogan to the UK where our Police are not much in the business of shooting anyone. There are still issues with racism in the UK that need addressing, and while the institutional racism of the Police does persist to this day - although much improved - I'm not sure importing a US movement is going to be an effective means of moving forward.
