Ok, i get it sometimes you need to ignore your screaming children to teach them not to cry or whatever.

But ffs **** off out of the goddamn pub/restaurant instea dof just sitting there ignoring your child as it slowly wonders about screaming its ****ing head off for 20 god damn minutes.


We really need to promote the fact the nhs gives out free condoms...

Or indeed good parenting, teaching them that being a screaming little **** will not get them attention.
 
Tefal, i share your pain.

Popping out offspring should be a privilege, not a right. Maybe then people will raise the ones they have properly and show them the amount of care and attention they deserve.
 
Where were you eating ? As a parent, I really miss going to places that would throw you out the door for asking for a children's menu ....

If your have a choice, exercise it and leave us breeders to put up with each other's offspring :D

I never understood childrens menus.

They need more food than us adults to grow and they children's menu is always processed **** instead of decent food like the adults.


They'll have a mixed grill and eat it all :l
 
Or the parents could try and be considerate of other people instead of letting their offspring roam around affecting other people. Why not go outside the pub/restaurant with the kid or something as they have that choice.

Kids screaming drives me up the wall....
 
Sometimes I feel like the parent ignoring their screaming child has become immune to their kids wails, so it doesn't annoy them personally, just everyone else.

I try not to think like that though, because then I start to get annoyed that the parent is a selfish ****.

Its very annoying, but best to try and ignore it as much as possible. Brats will brat, I suppose.

Awaits thread where OP complains the little wailer sat in same carriage too ...

I saw this last week when travelling back from London. Mum and boy got on at Crewe and the little snot proceeded to climb all over the seats and run up and down the carriage. When someone complained, she looked up from her phone for the first time and pulled the 'he has ADHD line' ... whilst holding the large bottle of sweet fizzy junk he'd no doubt been swigging on the platform.

Its summer ... avoid public places while the schools are out Mr Meldrew.
 
Why don't parents do what we did when ours was young?

'Stay out of the pub or get a babysitter'!

Or the previous generation 'leave them in the car with some pop and a packet of crisps'!

Sorry, we need the proletariat to breed the next generation of cannon fodder - they're going to be needed and their forebears have been letting the side down. That said, there do need to be men-only clubs where chaps can get a bit of peace and quiet.
