Paypal is a 3rd party so it breaks the chain between you and the seller. So you lose all credit card protection.

Yup. I fell afoul of this one with a dodgy eBay seller that PayPal refused to cover.

got some club vouchers kicking about somewhere too I need to check lol. hate FIFA so can sell it to get some more monies back - prob about £30 so in effect this should cost me the same amount as a 500gb model

Just to be clear, what is Microsoft's intended lifespan for the XB1? I don't own a 4K TV but futureproofing would probably be an alright idea. Not too bothered about super crystal clear quality and the Scorpio thing probably isn't worth it, but tossing up between a XB1 second hand or a One S is my current dilemma...

The Xbox One family - Xbone, S and Scorpio will easily be around until 2020. MS have said there won't be any Scorpio exclusives - all games will run on those three consoles. I don't think they'll do themselves any favours if they backtrack on that.

If price is not a concern, just wait and get the S model. I own a PS4 and have wanted a xbox one for ages to play the exclusives and have finally preordered the new slim.

Can't see much advantage to getting the original.

Think if you speak to xbox support they will send you a free adaptor.

Yeah they'll send you one free. (I think you need an old xbox one console serial number and a new xbox one s serial however)

Yeah speak with support make sure the Kinect is registered

I told them my old Xbox was deregistered due to selling it .. They checked out my account and sent me the adapted FOC only took a few days
