I'm not a fan of colur coded helmets or leathers, if you change your bike, you're screwed!

Edit: The full setup, great on track, maybe not when you stop and have to pick up a loaf of bread from tesco :p

I'm probably gonna buy a Shoei GT Air come spring, but there's no colours I like. I wanted an NXR in the shaky Byrne colours but they don't do the Sena 10U for the NXR, only the GT Air.

ahah yeah. I can imagine the abuse I'd receive if I rocked up to work looking like that...

I did look into that suit (horizon suit) but the cost is staggering. Around the 1k mark I think. I've got the gloves already, and scuffed them up the second day using them when I dropped my bike :(

I'll put that helmet on my "to buy" list :p.

I got my 701 from Frasers of Gloucester (http://www.frasersmotorcycles.co.uk/) they're fairly new as an husqvarna dealer, so I'm not sure how clued up on the Nuda they'd be.

It might be worth getting in touch with GH Motorcycles if you need advice. They really know their stuff. They're the guys who sorted out my new akra baffle, and seem to have been selling husky for a long time. The're sadly too far to visit (Colchester) but are more than happy to chat.

Cheers, I'll ring ktm first tomorrow as they are only 20 minutes from me, see what they say! How do you fit on the 701? Can you flat foot both feet?

I'm 6'2" and the 701 is just about a perfect fit. Swinging my leg over is still an effort though, especially if I have any tail packs on it!

It is worth giving KTM Brum a call. They said they could service the 701 - although that might be due to it's similarity with the ktm 690. It's worth a shot anyway.

I've seen some ingenious ways of jacking a bike up on chairs, axle stands, bricks etc. but in this case I'd just pay the £25 to be honest.
